The advent of the Internet has greatly enhanced our ability to communicate and congregate, albeit virtually, with people who share our interests and have like-minded ideas. Internet newsgroups and forums are two types of online communities that continue to grow in popularity and bring millions of people together on the Internet to share ideas, ask questions, and receive help on virtually any topic imaginable. 

Newsgroups are one of online discussion groups. In the newsgroups you can deal many varieties of topics with everyone. Newsgroups also can be active forums for the exchange of ideas and information, providing a small business with opportunities for networking, learning more about the industry and competition, and marketing and sales possibilities. Nowadays, many businessman or businessman posted their business to the newsgroups. But actually, you can’t just post your commercial content in that groups. Because there are some people who don’t interest with those kind of content or they just interest in sharing and exchange ideas and information. If you want to market your product, you must know what to do step by step.

As we know, there are some steps you can should know how you can market your product in newsgroups. First, before you want to posting a message with commercial content, a small business user should begin by participating in a discussion with well reasoned and to the point comments. This can secure a business's standing in the newsgroup and generate interest within in further posts. Second, commercial posts to a newsgroup should be short and to the point. Use the subject line to clarify the topic of the post. This will allow other users of the newsgroup to determine if the post is of use to them. Then, as with most information online, recipients are not interested in wading through a lot of hyperbole to get to the facts. It is important to be up front about being a company trying to sell a product, if that is your purpose, rather than posing as just another interested user. It is also important to post a message asking if a specific commercial post would be acceptable to participants prior to posting the commercial article.

Those are also the ethics that we should know about post commercial post or commercial content in the newsgroups. If you already know how to post a commercial content in the newsgroups, i believe that you will not be violating the ethical principles. Because you how to post that commercial content in your newsgroups. If this is the first time you use newsgroups, you should begin by determining those newsgroups which may be helpful to your business and to which your company or product may be of interest. To ensure the newsgroup to which you wish to post allows these types of posts, be sure to check the newsgroup's FAQ or file of frequently asked questions. Monitoring the newsgroup for a period of time prior to posting is also recommended, in order to ensure you are reaching the correct audience and not ruffling any feathers.
