How to Make Your Blog Interesting

Hi folks! Since I just make this blog recently, so I want to share some information about making a blog that is as interesting as (or more than) mine. There are a lot of things to do to create an interesting blog like the other bloggers have. I will explain mainly about blog created using Blogger.com. Here are some important points that you need to pay attention to make your blog interesting:

Template

To make the blog appear attractive, template plays an important role. In this part, you can modify your blog, start from edit the widget's position, manage the spaces in your blog, change the background's color, picture, etc. You can choose your blog's template from the normal templates that are provided by Blogger.com, although the options are limited. You do not like those templates and want an unique template to be used on your blog? No problem, I will provide you some advice and step to get template from other websites: 

1. Using Professional or Custom-made Template

In order to have an interesting template for your blog like professional bloggers have, then you must recreate your blog. It is not necessarily mean that you must change each of the code of script or HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language), because it will be hard and near impossible to do if you are not a programmer. The solution is that you change your current template with the new custom-made template. Here are the steps to do so, make sure you follow it thoroughly:

1. Visit websites that provide ready-to-use templates. For examples: btemplates.com and mybloggerthemes.com. I will use btemplates.com for next explanation.
2. Choose template that you like. I advice you to choose template that the size can be adjusted to all kind of gadget.
3. Try the demo of that template. It is important to do to see the real application of that template. do not just see the picture and screenshot. After that, decide to download it or not. 
4. Download – It is easy to do this step. I think I do not really need to explain how to do it. Just for a case, just find word ‘Download’ below the picture of the template in btemplates.com and the small page will pop up automatically that ask you to save the template to your computer.
5. Upload – After it is saved in your computer, now upload the template to Blogger.com. and it will automatically change your old template.
6. Arrange - Next, you just need to relocate and custom it to your preference.

2.  Using Widget

You may want to use some widget, but just make sure no too many because it will be a hindrance by slowing the loading process of your blog. I recommend you to only use widget for searching engine only, like Popular and Latest Article, Profile of Creator and Like, Fanpage of Facebook or Twitter if there is any.

To get those widget, it is already available at your blogspot. To do so, you just need to click "Layout" and then click "Add a Gadget". After that, choose the type of widget you want, custom it and click "save".
